Only 4-5 people control the business of the film industry: Govinda

The debate of insiders and outsiders has reached a different level in Bollywood. Many actors of the past era are also giving their opinion on this issue. Recently after the interview of Kangana Ranaut, Simi Grewal, the actress of the past era, said that she is very impressed with Kangana's courage. Now Govinda also expressed his opinion in this matter.

Govinda, who achieved superstar status in the industry in the 90s, said about nepotism, that despite his father Arun Kumar Raja and Nirmala Devi being actors, he had to struggle hard to make a place in Bollywood. Govinda said that he had to wait for hours to meet many producers during his time. Govinda also said that there are camps in Bollywood and only 4-5 people are running Bollywood.

In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Govinda said that whoever was talented earlier, he/she would get work. Every film used to get equal opportunities in theatres. But now it is not so. Now there are 4-5 people who run the entire business of films. They decide whether or not those actors/actresses who are not close to them are allowed to release their films properly. Some of my good films could not even get a proper release. But things are changing a lot now.

Talking about the Bollywood launch of his daughter Tina Ahuja, Govinda said that I have never talked to her much about it. My daughter is trying to find her own path and whenever her time comes she will definitely succeed. Let us tell you that there are reports of Govinda's son also making his Bollywood debut.
